About the position  

As a SEM Manager you will directly and indirectly through your team: create, manage and report on performance of channels under management. In addition, you are expected be able to create and implement new strategies to grow the channels under manage to deliver on the core KPIs of (Rev, Spend, ROI). BBQGuys is looking to hire either in house or remote for this position.  

Duties & Responsibilities  

The SEM Manager will be to lead the Channel team in delivering on your return on ad spend targets by both managing others and direct implementation of:  

  • Multi-Channel Management  
  • Multi-Channel KPI Reporting  
  • Multi-Channel Ad Platform Audits  
  • Multi-Channel Roadmap Planning & Execution  
  • Multi-Channel Campaign Promotion Execution  
  • Campaign Analysis & Makeovers  
  • Campaign Search, Keyword Trend Analysis  
  • Campaign Experiments & Ad Testing  
  • Campaign Promotion implementation  
  • Campaign Ad copy development  
  • Knowledge base management related to your channels  

Scope / Scale  

SEM Manger will be working with multiple advertising channels across multiple sites  

  • Channels: Google Ads and Microsoft Ads  
  • Campaign Types: All (Audience, Display, DSA, Search, Shopping, Video)  
  • Campaign Count: hundreds per channel  
  • Catalog Size: ~Tens of thousands of products, ~hundreds of brands  
  • Team: Individual contributor, but will work with other Analysts in the same channel  
  • Ad Budget: Multi-million-dollar ad spend
