Spanish Instructor/Asst./Assoc./Professor - Adjunct
Appointed by the Chancellor of the College upon recommendation of the Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs
GENERAL POSITION SUMMARY
Adjunct instructors may be assigned classes at any of the four River Parishes Community College campuses (Gonzales, Reserve, Plaquemine and St. Charles Locations), as determined by student need and institutional demand. Teaching needs will include face-to-face/online day and/or evening classes, including Early College Option Spanish courses three mornings per week. Adjunct faculty are responsible for timely and accurate submission of required documentation related to human resources and instruction.
Master’s degree in Spanish or related field, with at least 18 graduate-level credit hours in Spanish required.
- Previous teaching experience
- Candidates who may be credentialed in multiple disciplines.
- Ability to teach a variety of courses, including but not limited to: Elementary Spanish I, Elementary Spanish II, Intermediate Spanish I and Intermediate Spanish II.
Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
