JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

Compliance and Processing

Responsible for the day to day operations of the trust accounts, specially the processing of deposits to and withdrawals from trust accounts on a timely basis

Generate manual deposit and withdrawal letters for the trustees and provide supporting information on a daily basis

Coordinate with the Contract Document Specialists on the retrieval of required documentation for submittal to the trustees.  Monitor the packaging of such documentation through a third-party provider and generate manual packages as needed

Fully responsible for the flow of funds and data to certain insurance companies

Maintain deposit and withdrawal trackers and work to clear outstanding items

Work with Trust Contract Specialists and locations to obtain missing documentation from the withdrawal trackers

Research complex issues and provide resolutions.  Work closely with Contract to Cash team

Identify and implement process improvements

Respond to internal requests as needed

Assist with preparation of compliance reporting.  May be responsible for certain tasks of regulatory compliance for specific states

Assist with special projects as necessary

MINIMUM Requirements

Education

Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business or equivalent years of experience

Experience

One (1) year of direct related experience in compliance, audit, financial reporting or accounting with an Associate’s Degree

Two (2) years of direct related experience in compliance, audit, financial reporting or accounting without Associate’s Degree

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Well organized, ability to prioritize high traffic emails and workload

Ability to work independently, multitasking, prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines

Ability to analyze data and provide recommendations

Ability to prepare and present organized working papers and supporting documentation

Proficiency with PC software such as Excel, other Microsoft Office applications

Ability to express ideas clearly and effectively in both written and oral communications

Ability to work well under pressure

Comfortable communicating with other associates

When considering the work hours associated with this job, the following factors may apply:

Work Environment

Standard business dress required

Work Postures

Sitting continuously for many hours per day, up to 6 hours per day

Physical Demands

Physical effort requiring manual dexterity is required, includes paperwork, calculators, computers and phone usage

Work Hours

Working a number of evenings each month as need to ensure deadlines are met

Working past standard business hours is expected between January 1 and June 1 each year
